About Us

Darling Downs Centre of Aviation Medicine (DDCOAM) was established in Queensland, Australia to provide aviation, occupational and environmental medicine services to individuals and organisations for the region. Together, our doctors have decades of dedicated experience in aviation medicine, aviation physiology training, operational medicine, human factors, systems and capability development. DDCOAM supports aviators and organisations in achieving safe, effective and efficient flight operations.

Dr Wilfred Lim

MBBS, MMed(Anaes), DAvMed(UK), FAMS, FANZCA, FAFOEM, FACAsM 

Dr Wilfred Lim is a Consultant in Aviation, Occupational and Environmental Medicine at DDCOAM. Prior to his current role, he served 13 years in the Republic of Singapore Air Force as an Aviation Medical Officer where he trained and qualified in Aviation Medicine. Dr Lim is also a fully qualified specialist anaesthetist and divides his time between the two medical fields.
